It's a sad fact of today's society that vows don't get a lot of respect.

Well, in this case I was thinking merely of Unicode (?) symbols I knew how to code, but fair enough.

You are way, way ahead of me; I don't even know what a Unicode symbol is. :-)

I think it's symbol stuff on the computer (like hearts and logic operators and alphabet letters), and I'm probably getting it wrong, it's probably an HTML entity or something.
