A Very Minor Thought

All I'm really in the mood to post right now is to whine about how much I suck and how much my life sucks. I am being held back by the thought of, "Who would really want to read that?" But no one has to read my LJ, and it's my money that paid for it, so why not?

Hey, that's what LJ is here for, Gisei-san. For you to bitch, whine, moan and complain, and for the rest of us to pat your hand and say, "It'll be all right, dear." Or to ignore it all together. :)

Go for it. Lj is for complaining. And if we get tired of reading you whine, we can always stop reading. ^_^

I have a very nice mature Roquefort cheese here, which would go well with a good dry, full-bodied whine...

I like reading about the lives of my friends, including bitching and whining and rants about the suckitude of life. Universal human experience, and all that.

You go right ahead, and we'll be here in the comments to pet you and hug you and call you Squishy a person of Non-Suckitude. Or join in with the bitching and whining, whatever is required. *grin*

Aww, you are all so kind!

I'm feeling better than I did last night. I walked part of the way home from work--a good mile and a half--and exercise really does help your mood. So, while I still have problems I'm now in mood to talk about them, as opposed to whine about them. I prefer this mindset.

From the brief time I have known you, you appear to be one of the most-together and responsible people I have known. You are a diligent, hard-working and thoughtful individual. It also appears you are enduring a variety of hardships in life right now, yet you take it in stride and remain confident. Based on all of that, I think I can say with some confidence that you do not “suck”.

Whenever I feel blue, I like to reflect upon a quote from a White Wolf RPG book, something a wicked Verbena once said:

“You enter this world bloody, naked and screaming; the fun does not need to stop there.”

(Also attributed to Dana Gould, “We all enter this world in the same way: naked; screaming; soaked in blood. But if you live your life right, that kind of thing doesn't have to stop there.”)
