Icon meme

By way of [livejournal.com profile] yhlee:
Which of my icons do you associate with me, or think of as me...and which one(s) do you think I should use more often? Is there one that you're wondering why does she have THAT one?, or have other questions about? Hit me!

This one, and then (http://www.livejournal.com/allpics.bml?user=daidoji_gisei) the blue rose by [livejournal.com profile] artfully_done.

I like your Bleach icons generally. And I haven't seen the Nebraska one used!

I've used the Nebraska one a few times, but mostly I have it because, well, how could I not? :-)

I also like the rose by [livejournal.com profile] artfully_done, but they don't seem to update as often as [livejournal.com profile] obsessive_icons does. Some of Obsessive's affiliates seem to work in the style I like, so I'm going to start the Great Icon Hunt with them.

Seeing as I've seen you mostly on various L5R message boards to date, it's of course this one I most closely associate with you :)

Well, what else could I do with beautiful [livejournal.com profile] yhlee art? And now I have beautiful [livejournal.com profile] koshindou art, too.

Btw, you've been friended. And commented upon.

I like the usual icon, and the blue rose mentioned. You have some nice flowers, such as the lotus and cornflowers, that I'd like to see used if they fit your mood sometime. However, one that I really think fits is the "delicate flower" - that just sounds like you, in so many different voices.

You'll be seeing more of the cornflower, as I considerate my gardening icon. The lotus is my writing icon so its use is sporadic. As for 'delicate flower'--I love it, but I fear it merely incites [livejournal.com profile] koshindou and [livejournal.com profile] d_silverblade's belief that I am a Matsu.

Don't let that stop you! Even though you are in truth a Daidoji, you can still embrace the internal Matsu!

Every Daidoji is part Matsu. Without us, where would the Daidoji have ended up?

(I associate you with that icon, but I blame limited exposure)

I think I need to change my sig on the AEG forum! Also, Shinoko, do I know you under another name?

[identity profile] koshindou.livejournal.com 2007-04-08 09:48 pm (UTC)(link)
You are indeed "a delicate flower," Nancy. That's always the one that I look for, first and foremost. :)

Dandelion? Russian thistle? Field bindweed? The possibilities are endless...

(I vote dandelion, btw. The leaves are high in vitamins and minerals. ;-) )

[identity profile] koshindou.livejournal.com 2007-04-10 10:16 pm (UTC)(link)
You would vote for a flower that ended in "lion." :)

But only because there's no flowers with Matsu in it (that I know of)...
