I think last time I made it to GenCon, the highlight was the Battlelords game, in which I was delighted to win the best roleplayer award for the odd Mazian I was handed, mostly because it let me walk home with books I couldn't afford to buy at the time for an under-loved game.
The sad part is I can't remember who I played at the L5R larp that year. Oof.
