pro-Kotei festivities
Apr. 21st, 2006 09:46 pmI don't think I have a mood icon for tipsy. Pity, that.
I'm currently in the pro-Kotei meet-and-greet festivities at the S Sioux City Kotei. I'm going to be helping Bob Yager run the Kotei tomorrow, and I'm looking forward to it. If you've wondered why I have been nowhere online today, it's because I spent my morning packing and driving to S Sioux City.
I got there just a little before Bob did, met up with him, and helped unload the car and prep the tourney hall. Then I unpacked my car (with the help of two nice Jade Hand members who helped carry up my luggage to my room), had a light dinner and spent some time communing with the hotel hot tub. Hot water is goooooooood.
Now I'm hanging around in Bob's suite, drinking and talking. So far I've avoided getting drunk, which is my goal for the evening. My green tea liquor has been a big hit, and now I regret not bringing more. Well, there's always next year.
