Perhaps thinking too much

Maybe it is the heat. Or maybe I'm too stressed out over too many things of various sizes at once. Or something. But it's become hard to get excited about writing a new story, since it is a forgone conclusion I can't do it well enough to matter. I'm glad now that I went into this mostly for the technical challenges it would offer me--those at least I can rely on.
