Update on my life
Jun. 22nd, 2011 03:31 pmSummertime at work is both slow and fast: Slow, because the whole grocery industry slows down in the summer, and fast because I therefore try to get as many big administrative projects done as possible in this time. Right now I'm restructuring our bread schedule AND getting a new bread label design implemented in time for the start of the fiscal year. I think I have July all ready to do, so I need to start worrying about August.
Meanwhile, I still don't have a landline. My cell phone has been mostly filling in ok, but this still leaves me without internet at home. Meanwhile I've discovered that I've run out of paper checks so I have a stack of bills I need to pay by a phone I don't have. Yay. I guess I'll be carting them in to work this week so I can use the phone at my desk.
My garden needs planting, weeding, trying up, and harvesting. I had originally intended to do a bunch of work on Sunday but ended up feeling too tired. I should have done it anyway, but. I haven't bought plane tickets yet, and I really need to get on that--Gencon is right around the corner. Also, start looking for apartment sitter for that time. So many things to do!
