Not necessarily. This past year someone's been doing humor shorts with L5R art. Do you remember the old "Whazzzz uuuuup?" film on the Dragon Clan site? They're like that, only with actual dialog. One of them had a female Kuni Witch-Hunter with a Valley Girl accent--so, so, wrong. If I come across the links I'll flag them for you.

Also, I don't think I've mentioned how much I envy your ability to vid! I was listening to one of my Go-Gos albums the other day and thinking how perfect some of the songs would be as Bleach vids.

*Breathless Sigh* It reminded me how I felt after watching the movie they showed at the L5R seminar at Gencon. Are there any plans to use these as commercials on TV? Because there should!

Also, when did the Emperor die!?! Naseru-sama! ;_;

I haven't heard of any plans for TV--but TV spots are expensive and may not be the best option for a niche game like L5R.

Naseru's death was covered in the World Championship fictions: "Battle At the Tomb", parts 1-4. I helped write part 4!

I only had time to skim it, but WOW. Lots of dead samurai. I think I had originally looked on the L5R page and did not see that fiction.

Makes me want to play more L5R. I am looking forward to the CCC and Kotei next spring. (If you want a ride to either or both, I am good for a carpool.) Perhaps I will purchase more cards with Samurai Edition, but other than the City of Lies I am not in a hurry to get more right now.

The CCC is a distinct possibility! I'll probably go up to the Kotei on Friday, though--Bob's invited me as a part of the story team, and I also think he still has me on his Kotei crew.
