I didn't get the living room cleaned, and the kitchen is only half done. I might have gotten the kitchen all the way done, but I kept cooking things in it. Highlights: blueberry coffee cake Sunday morning; a Moroccan tagine involving chicken, white beans and cinnamon. (The recipe actually called for garbanzos (which I didn't have), but listed white beans (which I did) as a varient.) I got almost all of the laundry done, but I still have some winter clothes piled up on the corner of my bed.
I didn't get the garden out back turned, but after last week's rain I'm not convinced that it would have been dry enough anyway. I might give it a go tonight, though. I finally got my dianthus and violas in their planters, and popped some parsley seeds in with them for good measure. I planted up the red onions bulbs that a co-worker gave me; they don't look in the greatest of shape but it will only take a week for me to know if they are going to live, and in the meantime I can start some marigolds for that planter. I also bought two tomato plants (Early Girl and Juliet) and a bell pepper plant. If I get them in the ground soon I could get tomatoes from Erly Girl by the end of June--yum!
Did some research for some upcoming L5R stories, but no actual writing done. I had wanted to do more, but them's the breaks. I slept a lot this weekend, and that eats into my writing time.
I'm feeling much healthier. No coughing this morning, and my voice seems to have come back. (I had no voice at all yesterday, which made Mass a little surreal.) This is good: I have a busy week ahead.
