FOUNTAIN PEN!!!

I came home this noon from grocery shopping and found a box of fountain pen love on my porch, courtesy of fountain pen fan (and part-time temptress)
yhlee. She included a fountain pen converter and some yummy ink samples as well, so I can experiment. I'm so excited! It's almost enough to make me want to start a novel long-hand. <3
Having found instructions on how to remove an already-in-use cartridge from a pen I've decided to start with the ink the pen came with for practice and then move up to the converter and the ink samples. The pen and the ink are a sky-ish blue, which I suspect is not an accident on Yoon's part. *grin*

Date: 2012-01-28 08:08 pm (UTC)I have to confess, I was looking at either a sky-blue Pelikan Pelikano or the one you got (Lamy Safari), and I ended up going with the Safari (although both have quite good reputations) because with the Lamy Safari they sell separate nibs so if you ever want to try a F or XF or B or italic calligraphy whatever, you will have options without having to buy a whole new pen. =) Have fun!
