I mostly-finished the V-8 scarf this week. I say mostly because I still need to weave in the yarn ends, something I could have done quite easily were it not for the fact that my yarn needles have mysteriously disappeared, along with most of my crochet hooks.
(Just the metal ones, thankfully, the thought of replacing my fledgeling collection of bamboo hooks makes me want to cry. Though experience has taught me that no matter how much I love bamboo hooks and cotton yarn, bamboo and cotton Are Not Friends, which is why I had to go out and buy replacements for my missing metal hooks. {40% off JoAnns coupons for teh win!})
Anyway, while hunting for my yarn needles I found the label of the yarn I was using for the scarf, and realized that the Internet being what it was, I could show people what it looked like. So, the yarn is Schachenmayr's Toy in Carribbean Blues, and you can see it here.
Normally this is a yarn too rich for my blood, but I found 3 balls of it in a discount bin for 99 cents each and how could I resist colors like that? I also have one ball of Blue Sky that I still don't know what to do with.
